Reflection Questions Describe one of your photos from painting with light. I have a photo that has blue and violet colors. It's in the shape of a circle but, the bottom part is cut off.
What shutter speed did you have the camera on? The shutter speed was 8 seconds.
What light source did you use to create the painting? I used Christmas lights as my light source.
How did you achieve the image/effect? The lights were swung in a circle to get the effect in the image. What impact does the photo have? How would the viewer feel looking at your photo? This photo makes you feel cool.

Why? I like the photo of the violin better because it because I prefer to see emphasis. Why would you want to use a shallow depth of field? Using a shallow depth of field would focus on a certain point showing emphasis. When/in what situation would a large depth of field be better? When you find everything in the picture important.

What object did you choose to shoot for your photos? A Dodge Challenger. What personal significance does the object have? This is the car I rode in when I went to Florida. It brings back funny memories. Why is it your favorite thing? It's my favorite thing because it looks good and goes really fast. Describe the various points of view you photographed. I took pictures of the exterior of the car straight on and from the side. What setting or settings did you use to photograph the work? I mostly took the pictures outside in the sunlight and one in a garage. How did you avoid distracting backgrounds? I mostly used the patch tool. Finally, how did you consider composition and depth of field in your work? The pictures were taken close to the car.
